Portrait Professional Version 11 is quite a significant upgrade to this useful program.
While Portrait Professional 10 was a useful program. It did not really excel at face recognition. One was required to place all the face points individually.
Any misplacement of facial points required going back to the drawing board with the program.

This can be a familiar refrain in today’s age of modern digital photography and computer processing of visual images.
But, is it a fair assessment?
Let us discern, what is a photograph? What is real?
For that matter, what is art?
In any photograph, there is the assumption (false) that photos tell no lies…
In point of fact, all photos are both 99.9999% truthful, and 99.9999….% lies, depending on your perspective.
Eye witnesses, while considered very highly by juries in evidentiary purposes, are in fact one of the least reliable forms of evidence to events.
When an eye-witness to an event believes they have seen the whole event, this is a kind of lie they may tell very convincingly.
In being witness to any event, we see only a facet, or several facets of a much greater event.

Yes, this woman actually does have two different colored eyes. We shot the photograph, near Scottsdale, Arizona in my Fountain Hills studios, using a Paul C. Buff ring flash for key lighting.
Two Color Eyes Before & After Post Processing
The version on the left is a small jpg of the original in camera capture.
Clearly present and visible in the original photo are the different eye colorations, iris patterns and other gross details. This gorgeously bluish hazel eyed model, with the beautiful and rare reddish starburst colorations in her right eye, has what is termed in Latin “
After learning a boat load of retouching skills recently by watching Lynda Photoshop training videos, I was able to create the post processed example on the right and thereby bring to life details which are dormant yet present in the original.
