Only three years ago, Rose started out as a part-time thing while paying the bills working a regular 9-5 job during the week and modeling on the weekends.
“When I eventually moved out of NY, I was not working a regular job and I accepted approximately 2-5 modeling assignments a week.
It was a great feeling that I enjoyed very much.
As a freelance model it’s a great sense of ‘moving up’ when paid offers begin pouring in.
Modeling was something that I was always interested in, but never thought I could succeed at.
After my first photo shoot I knew that this was something that I would love to continue to do.
I take modeling very seriously.
I am being paid to portray a vision the photographer has in mind and I like to deliver that vision to the best of my abilities.
When I pose, I like to maintain a good flow, almost like a dance!
When posing, it is crucial that you always know what is happening all around you, lighting positions, camera angles, etc. Such small details can really wreck a creative photo shoot concept!
For a happy expression I think of pizza,
If I need to look angry, I just think of traffic!
Sometimes being a model can be a little stressing, but most times, the positives outweigh the negatives.
While I have met some people I wish I could forget, I have met some of the most spectacular people in my life.
Modeling has been an experience that I am so happy I was able to experience and I will be sad when it’s time to stop.
Focus on YOU. That is the path to success.”
