“The Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotic Women,” edited by Maxim Jakubowski, features work from 78 photographers, including the likes of Eric Kroll, Craig Morey and Mike Crawley, along with one or two short paragraphs of bio, and about 5-10 samples of each photographers work.
The genres are erotic art, glamour, boudoir, implied nude and nude photography of women… much like this blog, only dated to 2005.
There are links to the personal sites of the photographers, so this book, which is just under 8 inches by 6 inches is a nice little end table piece of inspiration with around 500 mostly nude photos of women, surely some of which might inspire you or your guests and clients.
The format being very much like what you are currently seeing on this blog … if you are liking the showcasing we have been doing of artists’ works here, you may well like this title …
That is, if you are way okay with artistic nudity and eroticism in photography.
The book is avail in paperback inexpensively for about $8-$15 depending on new or preowned condition.
Amazon says its 544 pages, I’m looking at it, and its last page is number 480 then the rear cover… don’t let that stop you from grabbing one if you love this kind of imagination therapy.
If you enjoy books of mainly images of a wide variety of photographers, working on the erotic side of female photography from the 2005 time frame, along with links to their sites, “The Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotic Women” may be a nice acquisition for your library.
